GALBI.Co is a fitness apparel brand founded in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2020. GALBI stands for "GALS, BE INSPIRED", while the brand is quirkily named after juicy Korean grilled ribs. GALBI is invested in promoting body positivity, with a mission to help women feel confident anytime, anywhere.
Branding — As a freelance brand designer, I had the chance to develop and execute the new brand identity system for GALBI by designing the brand's logo and creating social media marketing assets for their initial launch on Instagram. With the logo, I incorporated the letter "G" into a heart shape that represented a body appreciation. The illustrations and thank you cards I have created communicates GALBI's core values at the most crucial consumer touchpoint. My biggest takeaway from this job is the ability to induce constant, clear communication on design decisions that adhere to a strategic visual identity, as well as producing quality work on an established deadline.
