When two major events, the F1 Grand Prix and EXL 2025, landed back-to-back in Austin, Statsig saw an opportunity to show up in a bold, contextual way. I led an airport out-of-home campaign using tailored messaging grounded in data-driven experimentation and performance, designed to speak to two distinct audiences arriving in the city. The result was a flexible campaign system that adapted to context while reinforcing a single, cohesive brand.

The creative direction started with a simple question: what do Formula 1 and Statsig have in common? Speed. To move quickly, we leveraged AI for the first time to render imagery and two directions were explored—detailed realism versus simplified 3D forms. Evaluated for clarity and impact at airport scale, we landed on the 3D model-style approach for its playfulness and ability to grab attention instantly.

Following Austin’s Formula 1 weekend, EXL 2025 brought engineers and product teams together to focus on building and scaling software. The campaign needed to cut through the F1 noise while speaking directly to this audience. We translated Statsig’s data-driven mindset into its logomark in motion, built from a field of dots representing the datapoints teams rely on to make smart decisions.
